After hearing so much about this movie, I decided to sit down and watch Alfonso Cuaron's Children Of Men. I finished the movie about 15 minutes ago and not only did this movie live and exceed my expectations, Children Of Men is a masterpiece and I see why so many people hyped this movie.This might be the most beautiful bleak film I have seen. The movie is dirty, there is next to no hope. But when Kee reveals to Clive Owen that she is pregnant, and later on when Kee gives birth to her daughter, it's a beautiful moment and that seize fire moment comes up, I was in awe. Just for one moment, everybody stops firing and is just in shock and awe at what they are seeing. That moment was beautiful and sent chills down my spine.Alfonso Cuaron really knocked it out of the park with this movie. The long takes displayed here were incredible (The car ambush in particular). Everybody was so good in this movie. The one thing I knew about this movie was that Julianne Moore was not in the movie for long. But she was great in the small time she had. Clive Owen was incredible. I always liked him, but forget how good of an actor he is. I knew him mostly from Closer, but this might be his best performance. I see that he is going to be doing Ang Lee's Gemini Man with Will Smith. Awesome to see him in a somewhat high profile movie.I won't ramble for too much longer. I just loved this truly incredible movie and wanted to get my first thoughts on this movie. Fantastic film and might be one of my favorite movies. via /r/movies http://bit.ly/2HOupAv
