Shutter Island is without a doubt one of my favorite movies, if not my favorite. It just absolutely amazes me. So many little hints towards the truth scattered throughout that you would never notice until your second time watching it. The movie is entirely different your second time watching as you see it from the new perspective that you discover at the end. It is sad that it is as underrated as it is, but I do understand that it can be difficult to follow and understand for people, which is a shame.
