I wasn't expecting Mission Impossible: Fallout to have a killer soundtrack.

It's the sixth film in a series, and yet as a series, it consistently stays good (though your definition of "good" may vary from "holy shit" to "just good"). And for all the greatness that came with Fallout, I wasn't for a second expecting its soundtrack to be as fucking good as it is.Lorne Balfe perfectly captures espionage with a simple piano note that almost sounds paranoid and when it needs to kick your ass, it seduces you with an orchestra working overtime. I couldn't stop thinking about it when I was watching the film, nor praising it. It was "there", but in a way it's "there" to stay with you forever and not just being off-putting like some scores do.I doubt it'll come true, but I really hope this film gets an Oscar nod for "Best Soundtrack". It's absurd how good this soundtrack is.Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts on it. What do you think of it? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2QbBSNH
