Even though I find this to be a flawed film (it certainly feels dated now) I still come back to it every couple of years. There are some great moments in the movie. But I think Cruise is why I always go back.It's a bit of a flamboyant role for him. But he perfectly rises to the challenge. It's my favorite performance of his without a doubt.
