Rewatched Who Framed Roger Rabbit Tonight, and it still holds up pretty well.

So tonight in preparation for that New Chip N' Dale movie, I decided to rewatch another Live Action/animated hybrid (in fact, arguably the best one), Who Framed Roger Rabbit starring the Late and Great Bob Hoskins, AKA Happytime Murders but done right, and....well, I'm not going to spend too long on this because, it still holds up extremely well.In fact, I mean it when I say it is the best live action/animated Hybrid film ever made, let's be real here. The CGI, and how they blended the cartoons into the real world as well as how they interact with real people and vice versa still holds up extremely well, it can be enjoyed by both kids and adults, with the animated Crossover stuff for kids and the Darker Detective Noir elements for Adults, the fact they were able to make this happen at all the way they did in the first place being impressive in of itself, like seriously, who would've thought in a million years we would see Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny on screen together, or Donald and Daffy Duck. Also Eddie Valiant and Roger Rabbit are just great characters, Roger being crazy and silly, yet still so lovable and Naive, and apparently a ladies Rabbit because how the hell else did that dude manage to pick up someone like Jessica, Jesus Christ (also Jessica is the hottest toon on the planet) and not to mention, he's also really funny, and Valiant while he is a jerk, is also still relatable as he is sort of a reflection of us as adults, and how we become cyncial and bitter and lose that hopeful optimistic side, but like Eddie we are able to get it back, speaking of which, he also has a great character arc.It is also a great detective Noir story, even if the mystery of how did it is extremely forgettable, but I feel the film makes up for it with great pacing, animation, characters, chemistry between the two leads, music, comedy, and Story. What else can I say, except that I am really glad Disney let Who Framed Roger Rabbit remain a one movie series. Also, I said it once and I'll say it again, Jessica Rabbit is the hottest toon on the planet. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/Ek8jpFW
