I really enjoyed this film. Now yes it takes obvious inspiration from Alien and The Descent, but I found the setting, the casting and the claustrophobic nature of the movie to be really enjoyable, even given its shortcomings like showing the monster a bit too early. I thought the final act was great with a really rewarding reveal. I wish more horror movies would explore a pure monster flick like this and couple it with imaginative use of setting to add to the horror as opposed to just being a stage for the horror.
