There’s dozens of films I’d gladly pay to see theatrically again. Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, Heat, Inception, Alien, etc. How cool would it be to see those in theaters? Personally, I’d be pumped about bringing my kids to a screening of T2 or JP rather than some reboot/sequel/prequel that’s guaranteed to fall short in every way.Why are we getting a Matrix 4 or Indiana Jones 5? Take the resources allocated to those projects and create something entirely new. Leverage the nostalgia for those properties via theatrical re-releases of the origional Matrix or Raiders/Last Crusade. I guarantee I’m buying tickets to see those in theaters. No way in hell Im paying to see Matrix 4. No offense to those who are; but I’ll wait until the 2021 sequel hits Netflix if I ever do decide to watch it.Not sure if anyone else is on board, but seems like this is a missed opportunity for studios and theaters. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3xvyWwm
