I can’t believe more don’t talk about the time Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson made a movie together. Adventures of Tintin means a lot to me. This is my Indiana Jones. This is my ET. This is the Spielberg movie of my childhood. It’s a fast paced adventure story in the vein of Indiana Jones. And with a good mystery sprinkled on. It has some of the best action sequences I’ve ever seen, and with it being animation you don’t have to deal with the limitations of live action. The pirate scene, the chase for the scrolls and the third act are incredible. The world is so well crafted, and the characters are so memorable, from the acting to the character designs, you want to stay as long as you can in the world. I really wish they would do a sequel. I’m still holding out hope. This film does not get enough respect and love. It always seems forgotten when talking about Spielberg’s filmography. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3AoWgO3
