Actors who were great in one role but never really good in anything else

Are there any actors who were really good in one role but then either underutilized or just plain weren't good in any other role?Biggest example I can think of is Dane DeHaanHe was good as Andrew in Chronicle. BUT that's about it. I didn't care much for his performance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and, from what I heard, he wasn't very good in his other movies afterwardsThe only other movie, though, I can really judge him in is Lawless. He was okay in that. Really nobody but Guy Pearce stood out to me but he was fine. Honestly that movie as a whole, except for Pearce, was forgettable...Also Alicia Silverstone. She was good as Cher in Clueless. The only other movies I've seen her in, though, she's been serviceable at best, except for Batman & Robin where she was awful (Though I do feel sorry the press attacked her for gaining a couple of pounds during production, like, she wasn't even that fat...However it doesn't excuse her extremely wooden performance) via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3CsOJzO
