Just recently rewatched Dead Men's Chest and the CGI that turned Bill Nighy into the evil squid pirate Davy Jones is incredible. The way each of the tentacles move a little independently from one another is truly impressive.People like to claim that Practical effects beat CGI at every turn and that the latter never ages well but I think this is solid evidence that the opposite sometimes is true. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3rP0yKd
