I'm going to preface this with I'm not much of an anime guy, have watched a few series and I enjoyed this movie many years ago. But, I saw a comment recently regarding how if you watch Shaolin Soccer as a come to life, sports anime/manga, with that little thought in the back of your mind, it really, really holds up. Not only does it hold up, but I think it is the most well done adaption of an anime to real life film. From the dialogue, to story arcs, to camera shots, it really adds something extra to the movie. It turns it into something entirely different, and very enjoyable. At least it has for me.If you have a couple hours to kill, I recommend it. Its free on YouTube in 480p - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKU6qpfbs1Y via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3fYLIOQ
