I love trailers (and movies) and there is a real art to making a good trailer, however, I've realized for a long time they are just far too long, and so inevitably give away too much story and too many of the best bits. Couple this with the fact that a single movie usually releases at least three different trailers, it just becomes too much.I don't know who or why it became standard for movie trailers to last two and a half minutes, but I think there needs to be a massive reform and all trailers from now on need to decrease down to one minute (or maybe one and a half minutes, but I think even that is a little too long). What do you think? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3stxvMe
