Warner Bros. and Legendary have come to an agreement. Dune to be released in theaters, internationally, two weeks in advance of the planned HBO Max release in the USA.

Earlier, WB promised to release their new blockbusters and other releases in theaters and on HBO Max on the same day. Villeneuve, amongst others, was not happy with this decision, mainly because there was no discussion.
