Sci-fi isn't my go-to for movies, but I do enjoy them for what some of them they are: detailed world building, fun tech, and lots of intense space chases. This one gives me great Guardians of the Galaxy and Cowboy Bebop vibes, the space scenes are absolutely fantastic for such a small budget that they had to work with.And of course, they give a good tug at the heartstrings too. With how much I enjoyed it, I'm actually quite sad I couldn't see it in theaters like it was meant to. It would've made the experience so much more enjoyable on the big screen. But you know what?
