I watched it yesterday and it honestly blew my mind, the running time of 3 hours is a bit long but it is definitely worth the watch.The acting is A class with Tom Cruise (who won a golden globe for best supporting actor) Julian Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Melora Walters and many others. They all played their part with passion and they did it perfectly.The movie shows you in a perfect way that everyone is going through problems, some of them harder than others and that from time to time everyone has rough patches. It allows you to feel hope that in the end it will all be alright (for most people) and hey, we all deserve to know that. No matter what your going through, someone out there is willing to help you and they care, so don’t give up hope.The directing in this movie is amazing along with the screen play from who else but Thomas Paul Anderson. This movie just might be his masterpiece, he has movies like The master, boogie Nights, there will be blood, but I think this one takes the cake, it’s just really good.The music made by Aimee Mann adds to the greatness in his movie, perfect music with perfect lyrics for the perfect scenes.The movie reminded me of Requiem for a Dream, it leaves you thinking about life, the good things you’ve done, and the bad thing you’ve done, and how much more is there to come.If you haven’t watched it please do, it has just ranked itself up to one of my all time favorites.Edit: I changed the title since it was a bit confusing. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2I5ryUV
