I’ve always gotten a kick out of movies that did this. Camera panning around the room, stopping on each character and giving a block of text or narration that tells us what happened to each person.A lot of times it’s used for comedy but sometimes it can be really heartbreaking (Stand by Me). Usually feels like a nice bit of fan service to let me relish (or wallow) in the thought of the characters’ lives post-movie.So what do y’all think of this trope and what’re some good examples? I’d love to watch more movies that end this way.P.S. My favorite example is Legally Blonde’a ending. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/36TyInE

» How does everyone feel about the Animal House-style ending trope where you get a short blurb about the characters’ futures?
