The Terminator (1984) observation about the robotic arm in the factory at the end... did they talk to each other?

There is a scene where the skeleton of the T800 is chasing Kyle and Sarah. In one instance, he stares at a factory robot arm that is on, and then the camera cuts to the robot arm moving, pointing in the direction that Kyle and Sarah ran (I think??) then it cuts back to the T800 skull face, as if it confirmed information, and then continues chasing themIn case anyone reading isn't aware, a deleted scene of T1 reveals that the factory is Cyberdyne. This is not made clear in the official version of the film though.did they talk to each other?? Was this little "exchange" at least supposed to suggest their kinship or am I missing something?
