I recently watched Tenet and didn't think it was a good film. It has some interesting ideas but is boring with flat characters with a convoluted story. I've seen all of Nolan's movies with Dark Knight, Memento and prestige being the best. even the ones that i didn't enjoy as much as them i still found interesting like Inception and Interstellar. But with Tenet i genuinely think he's actually made a bad movie with the bad characters, sound mixing and plot. However, I'm surprised that reviewers like Jeremy Jahns etc. are praising the movie even while acknowledging those flaws. I know that if Zack Snyder, Rian Johnson or Michael Bay made the same movie they would tear it to shreds. Its completely fine if someone likes the movie and thinks is great, but the double standard is something i have a problem with. Jeremy Jahns attacked knives Out and said that Rian thinks he's clever but praises Nolan for doing the same thing because Tenet wasn't an original movie, even thought knives out is also an original movie. That doesn't make sense to me. He also tears of Michael Bay movies because of the incoherent plot and characters but doesn't with Nolan.Just before people call me a shill, i hated TLJ. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2ToE7MS
