What I don’t mean is any song that was MADE FOR a movie. The Ghostbusters theme song and My Heart Will Go On from Titanic are both iconic movie songs, but they exist because the movie exists. What I’m looking for are pre-existing songs that were used in a movie and now you will always associate that song with that movie. For me it’s Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap and (500) Days of Summer. That song was everywhere for a few years, but I will forever associate it with that movie.
