Movies that you give a pass for at least trying?

Was looking over a bunch of videos and I found a copy of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. The first movie shot entirely with green screen to my knowledge. It wasn't a great movie, the characters couldn't react to things they couldn't actually see, the plot was paper-thin and the pacing was off. But they did try something new. The film still has my grudging respect, even if it's considered meh. Same thing with Hardcore Henry, the movie might cause motion sickness, but I can't think of another film like it. Even if they tried and failed, at least they tried which is more than a lot of studios. So are there any movies that you still hold in higher regard for their attempt, even if it wasn't that good of a movie? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3is1EqE
