Do The Right Thing (1989) could have been released tomorrow and it would be shocking and relevant. And that is both amazing and incredibly sad.

I’ve never known what it was about, and I’ve kept it that way because I wanted to watch it blind.I’ve waited forever to see this and it’s a masterpiece. My main thought is how sad it is to see movies decade on decade whose dark plots still mirror the events of today. And poignancy aside it is a beautiful movie. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3j0qMoK
