'V for Vendetta' is a film set in 2020 about a dystopian future where people are under the rule of a totalitarian government. It depicts a deadly virus that kills a great number of people and ultimately ends with anarchy in the hopes for social reform. Hits a little too close to home...

Just watched 'V for Vendetta' for the first time and wow! I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner. The glaring similarities to today's current events kept me hooked from start to finish. Everything from the year the movie was set in (2020) to the messages about social reform and corruption are all so relevant to what's happening now. It even included a deadly virus that caused mass panic and chaos. Definitely a must watch, I'm glad I finally got around to watching it! via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2AEfiH8
