Dammit I love this film. I feel like it’s one of the less talked about Wes Anderson movies but it’s one of his best in my eyes. The cast is excellent, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson work brilliantly off each other and I loved Jeff Goldblum as Zissou’s richer and more smug rival.The music as well. I absolutely loved the amount of Bowie, as well as Seu Jorge’s guitar playing. The ending always gets me, he’s finally found what he was looking for, he’s finally succeeded and he just tears up with everybody in the sub placing a hand on him. It’s just beautiful.
