Growing up I fondly remember going to my local Xtra-Vision once every week. They had an aisle of rental DVDs that didn't do to well. Among them was Last Action Hero, with a 50Cent label for three days. The art on the cover immediately got my attention, and 8 year old me insisted this is the movie we get.I remember the first night I sat down to watch it. On the bottom edge of my bed, with my 24 inch TV connected to my PS2.From the moment the movie started it felt special. Magic almost, but maybe it was my 8 year old imagination...maybe not. Just picturing stepping into the world of my favourite movies was something special, and here it was brought to life. The action came right out at you, the comedy even more so, and the heartfelt moments the most. The plot was smart and over the top, but it knew exactly what it was. It made fun of cliche action movies by being one of the best there was. It helps that it had an amazing cast too, who play there roles to a tee!I've just watched the movie again tonight, and it's a movie I often go back too. If you haven't seen it , give it a try, and I promise you'll fall in love. And if you're a fan of Arnie himself, you'll see him at his best.I'd love to hear you're thoughts on this movie! :) via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2N0ajD3
