Is revealing that there's a twist considered a type of spoiler?

This debate has been heating my friend group up for weeks. If someone says "this movie has a twist" before you watch it, does that spoil the viewing experience? Note: argument is not about the mention of a twist spoiling the ENTIRE plotline, but rather how you would've enjoyed the movie otherwise.Example: someone says The Sixth Sense has a twist, but they don't exactly mention that Bruce Willis is dead the whole movie.Does the lack of context still preserve the viewing experience? Or does the mere fact that you're now anticipating any possible twist effectively spoil the entire viewing experience? Please share your thoughts and explanations! Thank you! via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2B6V60e
