Supposedly David Bowie was supposed to be in the role that Jared Leto was in (according to Villeneuve) before he passed away. Man, what a missed opportunity. Leto was decent but I thought he was too young for that character. Bowie in 2049 would have elevated that movie to legendary status, potentially even surpassing the original.
