With the exception of Star Wars, Rocky is the only film franchise that is more than 40 years old and still producing sequels in the same continuity. That's pretty remarkable.

All the others either haven't produced a sequel in decades (Dirty Harry, The Godfather, Jaws, and technically Alien as well even though there have been recent prequels) or have rebooted the continuity (Halloween).What's even more impressive is that the last three installments in the Rocky series were legitimately great movies. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2rjsyMa
