Shouldn't streaming be a haven for NC-17 films?

Streaming services offer a golden opportunity for creatives. NC-17 films aren't a financial death sentence because streaming services will take them, and they don't have to worry about theaters, Wal-Mart or Blockbuster. They're certainly there, such as Blue is the Warmest Color on Netflix, but there aren't many being made specifically for streaming; most films announced are rated R or lower. Filmmakers have this golden opportunity that didn't exist before. Now that Marvel and other blockbusters have killed the box office potential for anything more adult, shouldn't we see a deluge of NC-17 films for streaming? I'd like to see a ton more. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2pYBTsB
