Not sure how much press this movie is getting, but it opened last night and really cemented Trey Edward Schultz in my mind as one of the most interesting directors working in America today. The guy REALLY knows what he wants to do with a camera; there's some gorgeous cinematography and especially use of color in this film. It's almost a somatic experience. Terrific performances, especially by Kelvin Harrison, Jr. and Taylor Russell. Terrific soundtrack by Trent Reznor (whose film work I know Reddit loves) and Atticus Ross. It's not often that I watch a movie without subconsciously wondering how much longer is left in the runtime, but I was so fully engrossed in this that I even chose to forgive the guy using his phone light to eat nachos two rows over. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/33RzjTS
