One year ago this week, my colleague Rachel Browne and I were standing over the bodies of two dead men in a morgue in downtown Manila. This scene is a pivotal moment in the film we recently finished, called Rat Park, that hinges on the radical Canadian experiment on addiction of the same name from the 1970's.
