The way Adam Arkapaw uses light in this movie is amazing. He doesn't get much talked about around, I guess because he hasn't done much movies to get recognized (Macbeth is also one his greatest works). Would love for him to get more exposure. Loved every shot in this especially, the shot in the trebuchet siege scene where the soldiers were on their horses and you would get the silhouette of them from the dusk, with the glimpse of light from the projectile on fire from the trebuchet. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2rx4MfM

» Every shot in Netflix's The King is like a painting. The cinematography is one of the best I've seen in recent years.
