This movie by Joe Carnahan and a nice cast full of talent and names (Ryan Reynolds, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Ben Affleck, Chris Pine, Taraji P. Henson, Alicia Keys) tries its best in a Tarantino-style movie with witty one-liners, absurd twists and a decent amount of brutality.I think it is a guilty pleasure for me. The movie is a bit of a B-Movie, trying hard to position itself to line up with Tarantinos movie-verse and i think it just fails by a small margin. The characters are all crazy, Ben Affleck is really great and the movie managed to sour me a bit on Chris Pine, because i always remember him first being in THAT role as a drugfueled, crazy headhunternazi and i cant unsee that. But otherwise the movie introduced me to Alicia Keys... and my younger self didnt quite recover from that too. ;-)The score is great and i genuinely think that a lot of the actors had fun doing that movie. What do you think about that one? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2Lb8bK2
