When I was Eleven years old, I fell in love with a movie called "The 'Burbs". At 41 I think I figured out why it's still one of my favorite movies.

Every character is introduced within the first five minutes.Carol's look of frustration when he mentions his "stomach thing" sets the tone for the rest of the movie.The continuity! It's almost perfect.Some of the cinematography is really fun and creative for it's time. Example Dave and Ricky in the background between Ray and Art while they argue who should ring the doorbell.The main character never succeeds in turning off a television.Even in his dreams!More stuff, but I'm drunk and tired!It's also extremely quotable. via /r/movies http://bit.ly/2Qec1Sb
