I'd really like another Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, except with more focus on the Chipettes [Warning: Road Chip spoilers]

So at the end of the Road Chip, we see Alvin, Simon, and Theodore finally get adopted by Dave in the legal sense and it's a happy moment. However, with the Chipettes, we only see glimpses of their lives throughout the four movies. They're introduced in the second movie, wanting to be superstars, only to get manipulated by Ian into bad performing conditions. The third movie is where all the chipmunks/chipettes get stuck on an island and we see them all interact with each other. By this time, both groups are still popular performers, and they finally do the performance they were scheduled to do at the end of the movie. In the fourth movie, that's where the Chipmunks and Chipettes get a divergence. The chipmunks don't do much performances anymore and just hang out as a family with Dave, while the Chipettes have become superstars, judging on American Idol.I think it'd be interesting to see a movie about what the Chipettes do now that they've realised the dream they wanted in their introduction. How do they handle being the only currently performing chipmunk superstars since Alvin, Simon and Theodore are just chilling for the moment. In the 80's version, I think the Chipettes were looked after by someone called Ms Miller, but the movie version, I don't recall the Chipettes having someone to look after them other than Dave, but even then, they seem a bit more distant and independant from Dave compared to the Chipmunks.I want to see the Chipettes interact with their screaming and adoring fans, complain about touring (apparently performers don't like touring that much since you don't get much sleep and it's very tiring), dealing with papparazzi, planning and practising their concerts. Do they ever get scrutinised for being one of the few talking chipmunks in the world? How do they get themselves to be taken as serious performers when they're tiny little squeaky voiced things? How many more manipulative "Ian Hawkes" do the Chipettes meet and try to avoid? They dealed with the super-star life for some time in the first movie, with the Chipmunks getting tired, sore throats, and being told to slurp up caffeine by Ian, but a lot of that movie was also spent on the Chipmunks meeting Dave since that was their introduction, with the touring and stuff shown in an montage.Plus I want to see more of the individual personalities of the Chipettes, not in relation to the chipmunks, just to make it apparent that while they may be genderswapped clones of the chipmunk group, they're not entirely clones. I think in the 2015 TV series, and possibly in the 80's series (I was only 10 and it was 9 years ago when I began watching 80's chipmunks stuff on Youtube so I don't remember much of it), it's clear that Brittany is a bit of a diva (and in the movies, she's intelligent and would stick up for her sisters), Jeanette I think is that "weird girl" but very nice and somewhat shy, and Eleanor is an active, sporty one. They have a different dynamic to Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, where Alvin is the troublemaker, Simon is the intelligent worrier, they are often arguing each other and Theodore is the sweet one going "O_o". The chipmunks, while they do work cohesively when they want to, naturally there's a lot of friction between them. In the movies, the Chipettes seem to be a group that naturally work more cohesively (e.g. In the squeakquel, they didn't like being forced apart), so it'd be fun to see what part of super-stardom would begin a bit of friction between them.Since the Road Chip tied up life for the Chipmunks, a film tying up life for the Chipettes would be nice. And I reckon the Chipettes are better singers than the Chipmunks and I wouldn't mind them covering a few songs, or more original songs. (The Road Chip ended with an original song, and I liked it.)edit: And we would get to see what superstardom means to the Chipettes. In the Squeakquel, when they first meet Ian Hawke, they said something like "Oh you made the Chipmunks famous, we want to be famous too!", and they wanted to meet the chipmunks. Now that they're famous and they're close friends to the chipmunks, it'd be nice to see why they continue. For the Chipmunks, they became famous because Dave was struggling at his job and showed the Chipmunks to Ian, and the chipmunks went along with the superstar life because it was fun. But now that Dave isn't struggling and he wants what's best for the Chipmunks as their dad, by the Road Chip, the Chipmunks are living a more lowkey life (except for the shenanigans starting from when the movie happens). With the Chipettes, it seems they became even more famous of their own accord. via /r/movies http://bit.ly/2V3sxp3
