Before anyone forms a negative opinion on Robert Pattinson being cast as Batman, I’d suggest you watch some of his more recent performances.

I’m keeping a very open mind about this, and honestly I’m pretty excited.This article pretty well sums up my feelings on the matter. Robert Pattinson has shown some serious acting range as of the last few years and has taken the financial success of the Twilight series to work on smaller projects or directors he wants to work with. I respect the shit out of that.Give some of these movies a shot before you fully form your opinion on him:Good TimeThe Lost City of ZThe RoverHigh LifeThere’s more to be named, for sure, and I’m sure a lot of people can make a compelling case for others but that’s just a few to watch. He’s made some great choices lately, and I’m personally incredibly excited for The Lighthouse from Robert Eggers. My point is, he has serious acting range outside of being a teenage vampire heartthrob and we should probably give him a chance.
