What movies were considered 'bad' when they first were released, but are considered as 'great' today?

I just read that Scarface almost ruined Al Pacino's career because at the time when it was released it was seen as something so gruesome, tasteless and over the top, that it was considered a terrible film because there was nothing quite like it at the time. Today it's one of Al Pacino's best performances and the movie is considered a classic. Are there any other movies that were seen as bad when they first were released, but as time went by, opinion changed and people started thinking these films were good? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2L0K1yR
