Land of the Lost (with Will Ferrell and Danny McBride) is one of the craziest movies I’ve ever seen. It feels like a fever dream. Made me laugh out loud in many times. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you previously disregarded it as glossy Disney-style schlock.

Seriously, there are so many insane moments in this film it’s hard to keep track. It absolutely rewards repeat viewing. I think it didnt get good reviews at first because people assumed it’s for kids and it does not really work on that level.Case in point: it’s casually implied that Will Ferrell and Danny McBride have a drug induced threesome with a monkey creature.I haven’t laughed out loud from a movie in a long time. Just can’t believe they were able to get this made and keep so many of these moments in the film, because it’s clear that adults were probably not the original target audience. Will Ferrell and Danny McBride are obviously great tougher. The whole thing is just bonkers.If you smoke weed, it will only enhance your results.
