I LOVE the two former, and I’ll always go to a Shane Black movie, but The Predator was a fucking mess. Making predatoresque dogs was easy and stupid. The pace was shocking. The antagonist was drawn assuming the viewer understood him more than was able in the time given. He robbed the actual predators of all their mysticism.; the choices of what to reveal and build upon were so poorly informed. The comical tone is a mess. He completely misrepresents people on the ASD spectrum. I can’t believe he did such a shitty job. I love and will always love Shane Black.
