There seems to be something of a trend appearing with people complaining that ‘nobody asked for this film’ every time some announcement is made about a spin-off/prequel/unnecessary remake.I understand that many of these statements are justified but I seriously doubt that the studios give a shit about the circle-jerk of film buffs who disapprove of them being made. If you legitimately don’t care about something it’d probably be more productive to just ignore it completely and let it die an unacknowledged death rather than whining about its existence.Although I did just use the word ‘productive’ while on reddit which is like the biggest juxtaposition possible. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2QLfPwU
